On Wed and Friday we watched the S&P's and the other stock index rally quite nicely. But my guess is it's just a minor recovery.
I would call it a short covering rally as the market dropped to seven month lows last week. But look for some renewed selling this week. I believe the key will be whether we can settle above or below 1450 in the S&P contract. That level seems to be big and I would really like to see if we can get back above (and stay above) for a little while.
But keep this in mind: The trend is lower!
