A couple of scary looking charts are those of the financial guarantor firm Ambac and MBIA. As you can see investors appear uncomfortable with their stocks of late and have been net sellers. Some analysts feel that the amount of guarantees these firms have taken on and the potential liabilities could severely impact their financial well being. As I mentioned above no one really knows the extent of the bad paper running through the system. If the guarantees that these firms have made contain a significant amount of toxic paper, these stocks may even go lower?
