Lightnin fast is what I would call it! Today in the S&P futures we watched just massive volatility. The average amount of time it takes the S&P's to move 5 points, is approximately 5 minutes (give or take a minute.) Today during the trading session we watched the S&P futures market move 5 points in like 30 seconds.
That's about as volatile as it gets. And if you are successful in these markets, I take my hat off to you! Because it's not hard to find good trades in the market lately, it's just a little tough to also stay out of the bad ones.
But regardless, I think we will see more continued volatility and don't be surprised to see a lot of ups and downs as the market is going to have some very big swings after the holidays.
Only one more day to go this week, let's make it a good one!
